Head of School - Lee Taylor

Lee Taylor graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2005. He worked in youth and young adult ministries before deciding to attend seminary. He attended Regent University where he received his Master of Divinity Degree in the Spring of 2009.
He returned to West Monroe in the Fall of 2009 to become the High School Bible teacher and to lead the chapel program. During his time at CCS he began the Student Leadership Institute (SLi) which trains high school students to become Christian leaders who impact their world. Lee became Head of School in the Fall of 2011.
Lee is married to Rachel Taylor whom he met while they both were in graduate school in Virginia. Rachel is a Family Counselor in Monroe, and they both enjoy opportunities to travel. Lee’s greatest passion in education is to see students prepared for a life that makes a difference for the Kingdom of God.
Principal - Amy Brooks

Amy Brooks graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, formerly Northeast Louisiana University, with a B.A. in elementary education in 1992. She taught second grade for ten years, eight of which were at Claiborne Christian School. She served in various administrative roles from 2002 - 2008, during which time she also taught some English Language Arts classes to fourth and fifth graders and Bible to middle school age students.
Amy was awarded her master’s degree in education from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia, in 2007. She and her husband, Phillip, have been married for fifteen years and have three daughters: Lauryn, Ashlyn, and Anna Grace, all of whom are CCS Crusaders.
Amy’s greatest desire in life is to know Christ more and to accurately reflect His image to those around her. Equipping her own children and others to live out their God-given purposes in life is of the utmost importance to her.

Guidance - Wanda Murphy

Wanda Murphy graduated from ULM with a B.A. in Education, a Master’s in Education, and a paralegal degree. She also has a B.A. in Religious Education from Arlington Baptist College. She was employed at Monroe Christian School from 1980 until 1987. She then moved to Claiborne Christian School where she is currently the high school guidance counselor, as well as the high school Civics, World History, American History, and Free Enterprise teacher.
Wanda is married to Don Murphy. She has one daughter, Naomi Dawn Sims, and one granddaughter. She and her husband attend Lighthouse Baptist Church in Monroe. Wanda’s goal as a wife, parent, educator, and friend is to model and exemplify God’s love in all she does, and to encourage those around her to do the same.
