SLi Trip Recap | Biblical Worldview Conference
What an incredible opportunity for our students! This week, our high school students traveled to Dallas for the SLi Biblical Worldview Conference, where they were challenged to think deeply about their faith, stand confidently in truth, and live out their purpose in Christ.
Through powerful messages from speakers like Dr. James Tour, Megan Basham, Marcus Price, and others, students explored the connections between science and faith, the importance of discernment in a world full of competing voices, the truth of their identity in Christ, and what it looks like to love and serve others while standing firm in their beliefs.
These experiences go beyond the classroom. They equip our students to ask meaningful questions, strengthen their biblical worldview, and carry their faith into every area of life.
We are grateful that our students have the opportunity to attend this conference year after year and return home encouraged, challenged, and better equipped to live out their faith in a world that needs the truth of Jesus.

Our 4th graders wrapped up their Southeast Region unit with a delicious taste of Louisiana!
After learning about the unique geography, culture, traditions, and influences found throughout the Southeast, students took their learning into the kitchen and made their very own Cajun Sausage Alfredo!
Hands-on experiences like this help bring lessons to life and give students a fun, meaningful way to connect with what they’re learning.
From geography to culture to food, learning about the Southeast Region was definitely educational and delicious!

What a night at Meet the Crusaders!
Thank you to everyone who came out to support our Crusaders at Monday night’s Fall Pep Rally! We loved celebrating our Basketball and Cheer teams, Elementary Cross Country, and K–5th grade Pep Squads, along with the CCS Band who helped bring the music to the night!
A special congratulations to our 2026 State Champion Baseball Team! It was a special evening honoring their incredible season and presenting each player with their championship ring.

Our K4–6th grade girls had the BEST first Pep Squad practice!
We’re so excited to watch these girls learn, grow, and have fun cheering on our Crusaders this year! Go Crusaders!
Join us Monday, September 14 at 6 PM for our Meet the Crusaders Fall Pep Rally!
Come out and celebrate our CCS athletes as we introduce our Basketball, Cheer, and Elementary Cross Country teams, along with our K–5th grade Pep Squads. The CCS Band will also be playing, and our cheerleaders and pep squads will be performing!
We’ll also have a special celebration for our 2026 State Champion Baseball Team as we honor their incredible season and present them with their championship rings!
Bring the family, pack the stands, and come show your Crusader spirit! We can’t wait to see you there!
Looking back at a great day for our Elementary Cross Country runners!
Our 2nd and 3rd grade girls showed OUT! Londyn-Skye Harris finished 4th and Makenna Layfield finished 7th out of 51 runners! Along with Hazel Williams, Aubrey Hamby, Jala Price, and Finley Hebert, they helped our 2nd & 3rd Grade Girls team finish Runner-Up Overall and bring home a plaque! Allie Carter placed 2nd in the 4th-5th girls.
But honestly, one of the biggest wins of the day… ALL of our runners finished the race! And THAT is a big deal, especially in that heat!
So proud of every single one of our runners! Way to go, Crusaders!
We loved welcoming our CCS grandparents for Grandparents’ Breakfast! It was such a sweet morning filled with smiles, conversations, and special memories.Thank you to all of our grandparents for joining us! We’re so thankful for you!

Elementary Chapel is now in the new building!
We’re excited that our elementary students now have chapel in our new building! That means no more crossing the street for chapel.

Grandparents' Breakfast is this Friday!
We’re excited to welcome the grandparents of our K4 through 5th grade students for a special morning together! Breakfast will be served from 7:00–9:00 AM in the RDFC.
Parents, please coordinate with your child’s grandparents to arrange for them to meet your student across the street at the RDFC for breakfast. Students will not be checked out of class to attend.
Important Reminder: Students will not be permitted to leave with their grandparents after breakfast. After breakfast, students must be checked back in at the school office before returning to class. Students will then walk to class on their own.
Please note that leaving with grandparents after breakfast will not be considered an excused absence.
